Model United Nation (MUN)
MUN is a simulation of the United Nations. Participants, called delegates, are assigned a country to represent. They research their nation's position on real-world global issues, debate with other delegates, and work together to draft and pass resolutions.
A standard MUN is structured around council sessions (formal debate), unmoderated caucuses (open discussion), and social events (Social Night).
However, CC26 follows a different model. Our conference operates in a crisis format, which means unexpected developments are introduced that delegates must address in real time. By making deliberate choices under pressure, delegates put our theme, PRUDENTUS FUTURI into practice.
